View Full Version : Need Icarus Verilog (iverilog or ivi?)

I need to use Icarus Verilog, which is a Verilog simulator. It doesn't seem to be in the Ubuntu universe, but I'm told that I can get many debian packages to work. How might I go about finding the appropriate debian server, directing apt-get at it, and installing the package? I really have no clue where to start, and googling for this information isn't getting me anywhere.

Thanks.

P.S. If this is the wrong forum to ask the question, please direct me to the right place.

Am I asking this question in the wrong place?

I've not gotten so much as a shove-off for this question. No one seems to have an answer, and no one has suggested that I look somewhere else. For that matter, no one has bothered to tell me whether or not this is something that I would have to get answered through paid support.

It seems so unusual for a question to go completely ignored in an ubuntu forum.

iverilog is in the universe. The package is called verilog (not iverilog)
