[SOLVED] VirtualBox OSE version

Hello,

I am simply curious when the VirtualBox OSE version in the Ubuntu repositories will be updated. Does anyone know? If you check Help About in the OSE version downloaded for Gutsy it says 1.5.0_SE. However, if you check VirtualBox's Web Site, it appears they are up to version 1.5.6. I suppose I could install everything myself, but I like the simplicity of the repository version, and while I have no pressing need for a new version, I am simply curious to hear if there are any plans to update the version in the repositories.

I'd also like to see this because some of the bugs which have been fixed affect the ability to reliably access files stored on a shared directory (and mapped via a network drive to the guest).

Guest applications which store or retrieve many files (e.g., Britannica 2002 under W2K -- 29,000 files and 900+ MB) run into failures with 1. 5.0.
