Blank wine GUI without any text

I installed ubuntu 8.04 alpha6 with the latest wine 0.9.57. I am getting this blank wine GUI windows... i could not able to do any wine configuration. Even the wine configuation GUI is blank.

Please find the attached screenshot. Anyone has this problem?

What locale are you using?

Have you installed any custom fonts (or the msttcorefonts package?)

I had msttcorefonts installed but even after removing it, i still have the same problem with wine GUI.
