Been playing Diablo 2 with family. It's hard to see the treasure, so I have to use the Alt key to highlight it a lot. Sometimes this reduces the windows' opacity. How can I either prevent this behavior, or reverse it once it has happenned?

Wow.. thats a weird one! By chance, do you use compiz on this machine? Im thinking that you have compiz set to dim the window opacity with the Alt key.. Only thing I can think of is to either check the opacity shortcut settings in Advanced Desktop Effects or to disable desktop effects when you go to play D2.
