Hi! I'm fairly new to Ubuntu and I'm migrating from window XP.
I really like Ubuntu (I think the command line is great!), but I can't play the games I have for windows. I love playing games on my PC so to cut a long story short I came here and saw the section Gaming & Leisure.

Anyway my question is how do I play games? Do I dowload something which lets me play windows games or do I download games made spesifically for Ubuntu.

One more thing, I don't any internet on my PC so I need to donload anything on a windows PC :(.
(For those interested I'm using a PC at my local library)

Thank for your help!:)

32bit http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/archive/ubuntu/gutsy/wine_0.9.57~winehq0~ubuntu~7.10-1_i386.deb
64bit http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/archive/ubuntu/gutsy/wine_0.9.57~winehq0~ubuntu~7.10-1_amd64.deb

Then you can play Windows games :) Most of them anyway

And if you want to play games made for Linux then just browse through the Synaptic Package Manager. :)

He can't, he is a at a library and doesn't have the internet on his ubuntu PC.

If your serious about using ubuntu, may I reccomend you get the internet on your PC? (if you can, and its not too much hassle.)
