Knoppix help

Of all the light weigh linux. I finally got one that work for me and it's knoppix. But i'm having some trouble.

1. Fan not registering both live and HD.
2. Sound card not detected both live and HD.

I'd installed on HD.

Anyone have an idea?

I just went to get my laptop from the car now it shut down after it recognized my video card, mouse, etc.
Could it be the cold? Hmmm. i'll see if i can repair it.
