See my XP OS on other partition on Virtual Box?

Ive got a dual boot here at work.... Ubuntu 7.10 on one partition and XP on the other partition. Is there any way I can run my XP partition through Ubuntu/VirtualBox? I cant seem to be able to find any tutorials about this. I would rather just run my XP through Ubuntu here instead of having to log out of Ubuntu and then restart in XP.

Im stuck with XP for scanning old 35mm slides as my scanner is a Cannon :(
