hi everybody. first of all, thanx to the people who have made this forum to help make our lives easier with ubuntu.
since last 10 days i m having problems with my mozilla browser. it suddenly hangs up out of nowhere. i checked the amount of resources in system monitor but the resources stats r fine. i cant get the problem. somebody help me out of this.

9 times out of 10, firefox crashes are due to extensions that you've installed. (they often conflict with each other) Start a new profile, with no extensions, and if that solves your problem, you'll have to go through your extensions one by one to figure out which ones are problematic.

thanx spin2cool.i will try out this step. i have another problem. mozilla, if forced to quit doesnt give the option of "restore session" just like in windows.
also can any one suggest me a good intranet messenger that wud use less resources and do my work?

the add-ons that i have are:
fireform
mozilla theme
copy all urls
google toolbar.
are these apps in conflict with each other?

Just googled it "intranet messenger"
Softros lan messenger (http://messenger.softros.com)
it has free trial. Hope it helps.
