Perhaps not really the place for this, but i did not know where else to go.
After certain problems with certain programs in Ubuntu(notably MatLab*) i decided to run windows in dual boot.
However, i'd like to have an open source mailing program other than Mozilla Thunderbird with decent backup capabilities. other than that it should be light and contain as little unnecessary junk as possible.
*: Matlab does not want to run any M-file. Also, the M-file editor does not highlight, something which makes debugging a pain in the ***(not a problem right now, it wont run it anyways). If you know the solution, please tell me, if not, don't worry, i'll put up a post sometime.
