[SOLVED] ugly problem

for some reason, i cant enable the settings.
basically in the picture, the check mark box's are grayed out and like i said, i cant enable the settings

if someone can put a solution, thank you.

I am suspecting a config file with misplaced permissions.

Can you please try this:
Alt+F2 -> gksudo ccsm

Do not change anything, just check if the check-marks therein are enabled and report back.

But for some reason, after i shut down yesterday, it gave me the "could not load xserver"
screen

basiclly after waiting a day, it worked again.
but when i could actually get on, it worked, but i needed to reconfigure the graphics card

but ya, everything works now
