Just a few questions about the use of Firebird on Gutsy please.

1. Synaptic or other tools (add/remove software) don't show Firebird as being enabled for installation on Gutsy. Why not ?

2. What is the Firebird support like in these forums ? I simply mean is there considerable knowledge to help/assist.

3. Can Firebird be installed on Gutsy , using a QT3.x driver

4. Will Firebird be included in the next Ubuntu release ?

Thanks !!

Firebird packages are in the universe/multiverse repositories. About the support here I don't know, but maybe a Firebird specific forum is more useful.

Okay thanks, I see Firebird is included in Ubuntu 8.04 ( http://ubuntuland.nireblog.com/post/2008/02/29/firebird-203-included-in-ubuntu-804-hardy-heron )
