I am learning how to use fontforge and in the tutorial they talk about another method of drawing the glyphs using the software, "spiro". the libspiro file is not part of the synaptic package manager, where fontforge has been instaled from.
Is there a way to add spiro to the prepackaged fontforge that I have, without messing up how synaptic finds things? After doing linux for a couple of years, I am still unclear about how compiled and packaged software interacts.
Has anyone added spiro to fontforge in UbuntuStudio?
Thanks,
dfro
