I am starting a chess club at a school and wondered if anyone knows of a program that will allow me to enter names into system, input ELO rating, print out list of matches in a tournament situation, enter results and recalc ELO rating.
Print out next set of matches based on new ELO rating. (Round Robin tournament not Knockout).

Swiss perfect does this. Only the truly ancient versions are freeware though and it's built for windows and dos but should run fine with wine.
SOSS looks like it might do what you want but I've never used it.
If you find something better please post it! Decent Chess software on linux is a bit hard to find at the moment...

I have checked both programs - both work fine (SOSS in Ubuntu and SP using Wine).
I am going with SP because at this stage it looks a little easier to use and I am not concerned with fine detail as it will only be used for School comps.
Again thanks for your help and if I find any other interesting Chess software I will let you know.
