This may not be ppc specific, but for those of you who don't venture beyond Apple PPC forum, here's a quick tip that drove me nuts.
Changing the mouse pointer size is nowhere near the mouse pointer prefs. :)
It can be found in System > Preferences > Appearance > Theme > Customize > Pointer
A slider is at the bottom. Ah ha!
