Does anyone in the Phoenix area have a mini PCI-Express wlan network card for a laptop that they would be willing to sell to me?
I recently purchased a Compaq Presario F750us and the wireless card it came with doesn't have any driver support under Ubuntu 64 bit yet so I plan to swap it out for one that does until the support for that card is available. The card it came with is an AR5007EG and by all means it is a great card so I don't plan to get rid of it but I need something else I can put in the laptop that works under Ubuntu 64 bit so I can have some means if wireless connectivity while I wait for better driver support for the AR5007EG. I am willing to pay a fair price for it so if you happen to have one you no longer need or want I will happily take it off your hands. The only requirement is it must work with the 64 bit version of Ubuntu and must at least be 802.11g capable.
