I've just installed ETQW with the 1.4 installer. I had it running great until I went to change the resolution to my native 1680x1050. After applying the changes, the picture became huge and nearly unusable. I was able to exit the game, but now it won't start back up again. I believe it is having video issues and therefore closes before getting to involved on its own.

Does anyone know how to either easily fix this problem or how to unistall Quake Wars from Ubuntu? The installer doesn't uninstall and I really need to remove all of the data to try and start over again.

I guess to uninstall, you just have to manually delete the etqw directory.

Don't know about your resolution problem, but did you try: (described here (http://community.enemyterritory.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14144))

Now go to System->Preferences->Advanced Desktop Effects Settings. Click on "General Options", and un-check "Unredirect Fullscreen Windows". This will fix some bugs with input and snapping to windowed mode. You may have better performance if you disable any GL desktop effects (Compiz) entirely.

in /home/username/.etqwcl/base there is a file named etqwconfig.cfg.

open it and go to the option custimwidht and custom height, and select something lower there as your res.

Should fix the problem :)

I'm going to sleep now, so I won't be able to see f it worked for some time, but i will come back tommorow to see if I can be of any more assistance
