Hey,

I just thought I'd let the guys on this forum know that codeblocks (a great crossplatform C++ IDE) have just released their first stable release after working on it every day for the last 2 years. They've adopted the Ubuntu naming scheme and have Ubuntu packages available.

You can download CodeBlocks 8.02 here!!!! (http://www.codeblocks.org)

WOW, it's about time! ;)

Anyway I'll be sure to check this, even the unstable versions were pretty good already... :D

Thanks for the info!

w00t, i used this when I started messing around with wxWidgets and really liked it.

Now I'm more interested in QT/KDE development so I'll probably stick with KDevelop, but there are definitely some features from Code::Blocks that i miss (Tetris while programming, but it wouldn't let you play for more than 10 minutes every hour before freezing up on you and telling you to get back to work, that rocked :p)
