I can install intel drivers normali on the linux? like in the windows xp?
cuz my 5.1 sounds don't work and I have a post in multimedia and i think it's the sound driver cuz the told me to check the mute and i do everything like what they told me and it's still dont work, so any body know where i can found sounds driver for linux?
and i have intel.

nope. I tried doing it with wine, but it only installs up to a point then throws something like 'not windows' or 'wrong o/s' or something.

But there are linux drivers for intell stuff. Go check out your hardware at their site www.intel.com, maybe thei'll have a intel driver for linux there? (i went there and found a link to a site that have some linux intel drivers).
