MacBook getting a bit too hot..

Hey all!
I got sick of OS X being crap and stuck Ubuntu 7.10 on it, all is well and I was able to get everything up and running in a few hours, but I'm a bit concerned about the temperature.

Any way to manually order the fan to fire up? -It doesnt seem to be doing it's job properly!

Check out the guides for the macbook and macbook Santa Rosa in help.ubuntu.com, depending on which macbook you have. There are instructions for increasing the minimum fan speed.
