HI
I have installed Ubuntu 7.10 on my windows Xp system as Dual boot and found it comfortable for my daily needs.
I am a Trader in Stock Market , I use trading software which requires MS JAVA VIRTUAL MACHINE pre installed.that software is based on java
Please guide me to install that software in UBUNTU 7.10 WITH WINE.
Should i install MSJVM first in WINE and then install trading software? or any other procedure to follow?
Please help me

Thanking you

Hmm, you'll likely be better served ith WinXP inside Virtualbox or VMware Server. You can use the Cendio Seamless RDP utility to launch the program from the Linux desktop: http://www.cendio.com/seamlessrdp/

Well, if it's built in java, there's a chance it could work natively in Ubuntu. Is there a link where we could find the software? Alternatively, try to see if there is a .jar file somewhere in the installation directory. You can probably run that just by going to a terminal and typing

java [filename].jar
