Installing CVScedega

How do you install CVScedega? I want steam and HL1 mods to work on Linux. I found a tutorial on Linux gamers, but get an error. The error is listed at the bottom of the page and it says to update yoru flex with a console command if you get that, but I did and it's updated already but still error2's me. Blech.

Yep, been there. That's what links to the tutorial that gives me the error 2 and gives me a bogus fix for it.
