Running Warcraft III in Wine, and everything is great, but scrolling is a pain. When the mouse gets to the end of the window, I need it to stop so I can scroll arround; instead it just goes out to my desktop.

Any ideas?

winecfg has a configuration option under the Graphics tab to "Allow DirectX applications to stop the mouse leaving their window", or similar. Try that.

I tried it, and no luck. :(

bump....
I have the same problem here...

configuring wine to "Allow DirectX applications to stop the mouse leaving their window" isn't helping (I tried starting warcraft without -opengl mode ofc)

any other way to do it?

Bump.

I'm having the same issues with FPS games.

And maybe I'm just stating the obvious but... If you turn off the wine desktop you shouldn't have any problems... I want to leave the desktop up though so I can retain a higher resolution and effectively play the game in "windowed" mode.

Hopefully that helps the other guys but that solution isn't what I'm looking for.

EDIT: How to disable the desktop

Open winecfg
Click the graphics tab and uncheck "Emulate a virtual desktop"
????
PROFIT!!!!

seriously though that should help if you aren't looking to keep it in "windowed mode".
