Hi I am trying to install adobe flash player. When I follow the steps on their website I get this in the terminal.
ERROR: Your architecture, \'ppc\', is not supported by the
Adobe Flash Player installer.
My proccesser is a powerpc g4.
I think it has somthing to do with my power pc processer but I am not sure.

I am trying to install the .tar.gz

Any suggestions?

Adobe does not make flash for powerpc Linux. There is a flash player named 'gnash' which will play youtube and handles most basic flash webpages. Check out the powerpcfaq at the sticky at the top of this forum.

u might have to dist-upgrade your ubuntu install if its too old, usually when u cant get all the dependencies to work that means (at least to me) that u are using a package that is too new for your system. what ubuntu version are u using?
