Maybe there's no meaningful quantitative way to capture this, but look at this thread (http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=379744). Someone posts a question. Five minutes later, two people post the same answer about a minute after each other.

Is that crazy?

What is probably the average response time for the forums? Obviously it varies based on:

1. The time of day
2. The difficulty of the question
3. What sub-forum it's posted in

But is there any meaningful way to measure this? And if so, how?

Am I the only one who's curious about this faux statistic?

I love stats, but the only way to see this would be with forum software to do it no?

the stats I want to see are the windows vs linux hits (I hit this site more on windows at work i think even though i only have ubuntu at home)

the stats I want to see are the windows vs linux hits (I hit this site more on windows at work i think even though i only have ubuntu at home) That would be interesting. I would imagine, though, that the site probably already has stats on that. I know my personal website automatically generates stats about who visits (what browser, what operating system, what IP address, etc.).
