hey, i'm using cedega, and a installed thief etc.
got it running but on the screen i get heaps of stuff cut out, eg. no menus, guy 'talks' but no list of what to do, heaps of stuff missing, then at the end!! (while i tired to click...) my box crashed completelly!!!

ideas?

Are you sure Thief 3 is playable at all in Cedega? (is it mentioned like that in the games database of Transgaming's website?)
Please remember, it is not fully compatible with all Windows games... some games work better than others. Some games depend less on Windows-only stuff than others.

yes, sorry my fault, i'm not a player :D my cedega is bit old, supports only thief 2

have you checked the gamesDB?

if you look at the "Playability" stars on the right, you can see it got 2 stars, which doesn't rank it very high... which basically means is that it's barely playable.

Cedega is not fully compatible with Windows... and I fear it will never be, but that is just my feeling :)
