Hi there,
After my old SuSE PC packed in with all my CVS projects, I have installed Ubuntu on a new HD and set up a new CVS repository.
I have no problem adding new projects, committing in and out but how do you check into the CVS a backed up project that's got the ,v extensions on all the files from the old CVS I had on the SuSE PC?
I have copied the project 'as is' into the CVSROOT but I'm unable to check it out due to permission issues.
I have set the repositories in the same way and path as the backup project came from (/opt/CVSROOT/project). I have also updated the user and owner on the files to the same values that work with newly committed projects.
Any ideas on how to get around this one?
Thanks,
Sueyit
