I have been trying different distros' and the only one that boots and runs solidly so far has been dapper 64 bit. I have read the stickies and gone through the the threads in "Please Read First the Advantages and Disadvantages.." , but they seem a little old.

I was wondering what the current state of support for work arounds are for 6.06. And has the focus of 64bit ubuntu moved past this release?

Just point me to a thread if you want, thanks.

Sorry, I read the first sticky on this page last, "Flash 9 install script for AMD64 (nspluginwrapper)". I have got Flash now and am moving on to Java.

Anyway, hello Ubuntu forums and many thanks to Kilz.

Java may be a Big issue with Dapper Drake (6.06) You might really consider moving up to at least Feisty Fawn.
