I tried to search the forum for info on "Sunbird 0.7", since the repository only has 0.5. The search returned no results. Then I just searched on "Sunbird", got some results, and found a thread that was exactly called "Sunbird 0.7". Why didn't this show up in my original search? How can I do a search when I want to look for a specific version number of an app?

would appreciate someone answering this thread.. the original post puts the question clearly enough. but nearly two years later and no response?

in my case, i want to search for threads that talk about upgrading from 8.04 to 9.10. i can use the code names (hardy, jaunty), but know that not everyone uses those as i see many posts with the version numbers in text or title. but it seems that the forum app doesn't support searches that include numbers??

Sometimes a Google search is more effective than using the forum's search feature, e.g. using something like this in the search box:
sunbird 0.7 site:ubuntuforums.org
