red had an ubuntu server

Hi,

I currently have red hat running as my webserver but what I want to do is setup another server using ubuntu server as my media server. So any photos or video that the website needs comes from that server. is there a way of doing this? If there is can you point me in the right direction as in Howtos or something of that sort?
