Hi,

I am experimenting with running Ubuntu on low memory systems. One of the most essential services for me is CUPS. But I don't spend a lot of time every day printing. Would it work to use xinetd to start CUPS on demand, so it doesn't waste any memory when I am not printing? If so, how do I set up xinetd?

Thanks!
