I didn't think it would work, but it does. It was my understanding that Geodes are i586s, but it installed fine with the "Ubuntu" method from the OLPC wiki (http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Ubuntu_On_OLPC_XO), and now I have Arch running on my little green laptop.

I'm not 100 percent satisfied since it's still technically running the OLPC kernel and so forth, but I can't complain.
The Windows 2000-makeover was just to thumb my nose at Redmond. :D
