i need help on installing window programs/games using wine. plssssss help. Just a newbie in Ubuntu linux, hoping to migrate forever in linux. pls email me the procedure, need it badly. thanx in advance. (bongster10@yahoo.com)

you need to be more specific...which programs? It's possible theres a native program that will do whatever it is you're looking for, and you won't need to use wine.

If time is money, you may consider saving money by buying crossover office. It makes installing things easy like installing M$ office and other office applications running in wine on linux. I use it to install apps to run in wine, and it works very well.
Otherwise, I would try installing wine of course and winesetuptk and winetools from universe repositories. Play with those for a while. Otherwise you should just need to run... wine program.exe
Oops, I forgot I was in the games section. I don't know much about running games with wine, but have heard games running emulated this way are slooooooow.

just right click the app you want to use and select open with then type wine.
