Wine Problems 0.9.55

I'm Using Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 and recently updated wine to 0.9.55. Now if I try to use wine I get the following:

home@home-desktop:~$ winecfg
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

It gives the "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" error if you do anything with wine.
Hope someone has an answer.

Downgrade to 0.9.54; the 0.9.55 build appears to be broken at present.
