Hi guys,
I was just wondering if anyone is going to the LinuxWorldExpo (http://linuxworldexpo.co.uk/) in Olympia, London next week 5-6 Oct 2005.
If you are, is anyone interested in meeting up?
I believe Mark Shuttleworth is going to be there talking about Breezy. Is anyone going to be attending that?
Apologies if this topic has been initiated already, couldn't find it in a search.
Btw, I am planning to go on Wed 5th.

I am arriving in London on the 6th in the evening, if only I had known, I would have booked for the 4th, what a shame.
Is it an annual event? If so I'll try and make it next year, I visit London quite frequently, and am usually flexible about dates, but I do need to know in advance.

I would have been very interested to go, but the price was too high. I think it's aimed more at IT professionals than the end-user like myself. That's probably why it's on a weekday too.

After posting, I found out that there will be another linux world expo in London on Oct. 18 & 19, 2006. I have put it in my diary, and hope to meet you then (5'10", short hair, glasses)!

I wanted to go and I was busy making my booking when I saw that it would cost me £75 (US$150) just to go see the 40 minute long presentation by Mark Shuttleworth at the end of day 1. It's just not worth it.
