Recently on a UK forum (http://forums.vnunet.com/thread.jspa?threadID=130008) I use, the Vamos Project and Rootz was linked to.

What are the security implications of using these services?
Would you be secure using them, I'm very sceptical.

Why are you sceptical?

It all comes down to trust I suppose, I'm not certain about how secure my data would be on your remote system and I'm seeking independent advice from people more knowledgeable than me.

I know that you are the developer of this service, it's certainly an interesting one and I'm trying to find out more about it.

You obviously assume that user's data is persisted on the server. This is not true!
Your data is kept the way you want, rootz doesn't change that...

The only thing you need to trust here, is the server (mirror) providing the software, and you that today already, when you download live cd's.
