Like compared to gnome it just like there is nothing good I can say about it's effects it's annoying like no cube what advantages does fluxbox have over gnome except it uses less system resources? Mind you I don't care because I have 2 gigs ram and a ton of memory lol so with this modern computer at only like 15-40% ram usage ALMOST ALWAYS with GNOME why would fluxbox be helpful? OPINIONS AS WELL PLEASE??

Don't use it if you don't like it...

Definitely not for everyone... some of us have to make do with 512MB and 1,4GHz :P
I also like to make my own themes for the environment I'm using, and it's easier with Fluxbox. And Gnome doesn't satisfy my minimalistic needs!
I can do zen with flux!

KDE and GNOME are completely usable with 512 MB + 1GHz.
But yes fluxbox 3rd in my ranking of DE bundled in WM department. Right after Openbox and e17 and 5 th in DE + WM category. It is good but feels much heavier than openbox.

It looks pretty good. That's about it.
To some people, that's a very important issue.

Not everyone is a fan of eyecandy. My computer has 2GB RAM and can run Compiz-Fusion fine... but I still choose Openbox. Why? It's more customizable than GNOME is for me and it's so much faster. I like it better. I'm sure a lot of Fluxbox users think the same.
