Any rumors about X3 and UT3?

Have anyone heard any rumors about some release dates for X3 and UT3. I want some fairly modern games soon and that quake game was not my cup of tea.

according to Phoronix.com forums (the news is a few months old) X3 is in beta testing right now with no idea when a release date is due and UT3 is still in legal limbo with no idea when they will get this resolved to release the linux client.

Idk, really happy with quake wars myself.

Check out Warsow meanwhile, it was said to be the best linux fps on some recent review.

Everybody has a theory but nobody is officially saying. :D
From folks blaming Gamespy to others blaming third party software company Aegia with their physics engine PhysX for the delay.
But nobody outside of the company knows why there is a delay.

It is kind of painful to play UT2k4, sometimes even on demo servers, same map over and over... When I could be playing UT3. : (

I don't care what their problem is. Here we are buying the game (even when there's a lot free alternatives these days) and we can't even play on our OS of choice. What year is this, 1998?
