<CODE>cedega Frozen\ Throne.exe<\CODE>
apsolutely, moved to the right directory.
then it required the CD (i have already cracked it in windows)
Thanks for help.

try installing it with cedega, instead of copying the folder.

I launch mine like this. You can paste that in to a custom application launcher also. Right click a menu bar and click 'Add to Panel'. It's at the top. It'd be too annoying to have to type the launch command in a terminal each time you want to play.

cedega "/home/smack/.transgaming/c_drive/Program Files/Warcraft III/war3.exe"
You'd need to change the home directory to your home directory also.

I'd use the CD instead of a crack also. They come out with new war3 version all the time and finding the latest crack is always a super-pita.

Also, about it not finding the CD. Try enabling or disabling your DMA and rebooting. When I first turned on DMA on my CDROM war3 wouldn't find the CD until I rebooted(don't know why).

threre 1 solution for windows that dont need to find crack all the time war 3 have a new version.
use Deamon to mount warcraft.mds or .mdf and u can play without cd Battle.net is ok for this thing.
warcraft.mdf

warcraft.mds
http://ee.1asphost.com/logan001101/Warcraft%20III.mds

But in linux, how can i do like that ???

I've researched it. DaemonTools has special stuff built in to circumvent the copy protection in War3. There's currently no program to do the same in linux. If you wanted to get around it you'd have to have a cracked .exe. :(
