well GOS is a google project so by default it will use google as the main engine...
I dont know much about GOS but I am thinking there might be a way to make a workaround

You probably can if you find where the module is located (I can't tell you because it varies from each different package), and then copy it to your home folder and run this command in a terminal:
edje_decc file.edj
If you get an edje_decc: command not found message, I think you are up a creek without a paddle then, as you don't have the necessary tools to edit it.

I thought that the google search thingy in gOS is part of the google desktop search app :confused:

On a slightly different note everytime I use the google search on gos I get a 403 error.
Is this because I am outside the USA ?

Are you in 2.0? If so, it doesn't work yet. That's only a beta, as the other version is an alpha. Just wait a bit.

Yep it's a html file. so you can edit
