Dansguardian gui for 7.10? or Ubuntu CE?

Another thread says that the feisty Fawn instructions didn't work for Gutsy G. I'll be installing Ubuntu in my son's computer; is there a way to install Dansguardian to 7.10?

I'm not sure I need all of Ubuntu CE (certainly not the financial program, and not eSword). If I decide to install Ubuntu CE, can I pick and choose which applications I want? Does the CE work any slower/differently than regular Ubuntu?

Yes you can pick and choose which application you want, and no it is not any slower or different other than a default look and feel, which can be changed.
