Failed to open stream - problem

After a long attempt to install xampp and wordpress on ubuntu, the latest following the HowTo of Petervk, I got the following error when I opened it in the browser (see IMG)

How can I resolve the problem?

It's not finding your index.php file in /opt/lampp/htdocs/banago/

Are you sure the path is correct?

Thanks for the replay Remmy!

The index.php is there, I confirmed it as I doubted it myself. I even open it in my editor to confirm the content was ok, and it was so.

Any other suggestion, please?
