Blank Display Livetv

Have just installed Mythbuntu as frontend on an old Toshiba Tecra M1 laptop, installation was a breeze but on LiveTV and playback of recorded programs I have audio but screen is blank ( all blue) . The small preview window of recordings displays OK. Playback of DVD's from VLC has the same issue. I beleive I have all the codecs installed W32, FFmpeg, Libdvdcss, what am I missing??

Hi there, did you have any luck with this?

I get the same problem with live tv and some of my DVB-T content, oddly all the other myth frontends I have are running fine.

What are the specs of the machines that aren't working? Specifically the video card and do you have proprietary drivers installed? this only happens on my laptop (celeron M 1.4Ghz) on content my video card/CPU can't handle (HDTV content).

My video card is a Rage 128 Pro Ultra TF and works with higher bitrate video from dvb-t recorded than the ones it fails on.

Doesn't seem to be a bitrate problem.
