View Full Version : Emerald Windows Resizing by Themselves

Greetings to all,

I have just installed Emerald on my Gutsy machine, an AMD K6 2.2GHz, 1GB RAM and AVI Radeon graphics card with I think 64MB memory. It's a Compaq Presario 2100 (2160CA to be precise).

My problem is that if I "Maximize" a window and then click somewhere within it, it resizes itself to the top-left corner, title bar beyond the top (so invisible), and about 60% of the screen width and height.

I have the same problem with two Emerald themes, so I know it doesn't depend on the theme.

I've tried searching both the current Forums as well as G**gle, but I found nothing that was even remotely similar to my problem. Am I the only one in that situation? (I wouldn't be surprised, as everything only ever happens to me [I]and nobody else. LOL[I])

Looking forward to hearing about others having this problem.

Take care all,
PierreQuebec

Oh well fixed it myself. Turns out that in my general preferences (System -> Preferences -> Advanced Desktop Effects Settings - - - General Options) the Display Settings Output string I had both 1024x768+0+0 and 640x480+0+0 (only had the 640x480+0+0 after initial configuration, I added 1024x768+0+0 manually later), so I removed the 640x480+0+0 and everything works fine now.

By the way, what do the +0+0 stand for???
