hey all im a pretty big noob when it comes to linux... i have installed mythdora and my VisionPlus (Twinhan) Digital HDTV Capture Card was detected when i went through the mythTV setup. Im a big fan of ubuntu so i would much rather be using mythbuntu, but when i get to the capture card settings it will not detect my card. ive been googleing all day and havent seem to find any helpful info for mythbuntu. I also tried the IRC server listed on the mythbuntu website but didnt get any replys. if anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated ;)

<Newy11> anything u can see that maybe making it not show up in the mythTV setup?
<superm1> does this card do both analog and digital?
<superm1> it looks like the digital frontend for it is fully recognized and setup
<Newy11> im not 100% sure if it does both
<superm1> well minimally it looks like it does digital
<Newy11> im just googleing atm to see if it does
<superm1> and that its working as expected
<superm1> what happens when you configure it as a dvb device in mythtv-setup?
<Newy11> says could not open
<superm1> did you try after you rebooted?
<superm1> after install that is?
<superm1> i've heard of some chaps that can't do some tuner stuff until after the reboot
<Newy11> yeah i did a install but i rebooted it a min ago and it actually has come up now ;) cheers heaps for your help
<superm1> great :)
