I have had this issue arise everytime the criteria are met, and on numerous installs of mythtv.....
I have "Show live tv in All Programs filter" unchecked.
If I go to delete recordings, press 'M' to change my filter and select 'LiveTV', then proceed to delete all LiveTV records, the "No Records" bar is displayed.
Now for the issue....I'm stuck there. If I press 'esc' or the back arrow, I don't navigate back, if I press 'M', the filter dialog is not presented. However, if I use the mouse, go up to the top and get the tool bar (I have it set to auto hide), click the Myth frontend to minimize it, then again to maximize it...my last command takes place...i.e. I go back, or the filter menu pops up.
