Hi and beryl has joined with compiz and made compiz-fusion. It comes default on Gutsy. I have installed beryl before on gutsy but the last time I tried I ran into dependency issues that I did not correct ( I did not spend the time)

HI and you can use the cube with compiz fusion. You will need a graphics card that will support 3d and the visual effects is located under system, preference, appearance then the visual tab

Hi, just as the guy who started this topic, i am a noobie in matters of changing visual appearance in Linux. If anyone can tell me the detailed steps, it would be great. I have already downloaded the most recent releases from http://www.beryl-project.org/releases.php which are aquamarine-0.2.1.tar.bz2, and others. I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks,
