Dear all,

I've found a small KDE/QT program on http://www.pro-linux.de/work/kde/kdews_7.html (warning: German - just look at the code). Unfortunately, it doesn't compile since it looks like to be made for older versions of QT and/or KDE.

Do you know of any example for something similar (STK/GNOME is also ok)? My aim is to have a small widget that just displays a HTML page which changes dynamically using JavaScript. This could be used as a starting point for a lot of (simple) widgets.

KDE has a Konqueror KPart that can be used to integrate a browser... and I think there was an even more lightweight widget for that. Look at the docs :)
