Ok, heres the deal
Out of being experimental, i started again with Ubuntu Studio from scratch. When i finally got Ubuntu Studio reinstalled, the system sounds play out of the Delta 44 even though in the prefences/sounds, i selected all system sounds to come from my onboard soundcard. Now when i first installed this before i did this little reinstall, i could get recognized input into the delta 44 by viewing Envy24. Now i can't get anything to show up more or less be heard coming out of the inputs. Any ideas what to do? This used to work at one time and then all of a sudden it decides it doesn't want to work anymore. I did a reinstall just in case somewhere down the line i got a program that made the delta44 not recognize the inputs. So i got fresh Ubuntu studio on here after system updates and such and all the audio is routed all messed up. Any ideas?
oh yeah, the movie player will play sounds out of the onboard sound card, but everything else all seems to go though the delta 44, with the exception of the delta 44 recognizing the inputs
