Problem with MythGame

I have tried mythgame with both fceu and xe. They both work but when I select the rom I want to play from the menu it loads the emulator behind the mythtv frontend and I have to alt+tab to see the game.

Any thoughts on this?

It seems that anytime the mythtv frontend loads a window apart from itself it sends it to the background. When I look at an article in the news section if it has prompt me with a message box about accepting cookies it sends the window to the background. If it does not need to do that there is no problem.

Okay... Just in case anyone else has this problem... It turns out that there is a stacking problem with the compiz windows manager. My problem was solved by changing the Visual Effects in Preferences > Appearance to None.
