Hi everyone, I'm kinda new to Ubuntu, and I am a person that likes to make Pixel Art, specially game oriented.

I've enjoyed Gimp very much. Most of the stuff I used on Photoshop (which wasn't much) I have on Gimp. However, there is one tiny and particular feature that messes entirely with my process.

That feature is the "Continuous" check box on both Bucket and Magic Wand tool.

These are very useful to me, since I don't use anti aliasing and no threshold, only pixel by pixel drawing, sometimes i just need to change one or more colors, without having to push the bucket on every separate pixel of that color.
Or even, I am still making some tests, and i have multiple color outline, and selecting the ones i don't need just by selecting the unwanted color, is something that helps me a lot with my work.

So my question is, is this feature somehow escaping me? or does Gimp lacks it? i also installed Gimp Shop, but still nothing to add.
If the feature does not exist, is there any way of customizing it?
Is there any applications for Ubuntu, that are more pixel art directed, that hate this feature?

I've also installed GraphicsGale thru wine, but i really don't like that application. And i'm trying to free myself from Photoshop and every "extra" that comes with it.

I thank in advance for any help, and stay well.

Not sure I completely understand the question as I don't use Photoshop and am not familiar with the "Continuous" option. Have you tried the "Select by Color" tool, then apply the Bucket tool to the resulting selection?

Are you trying to select every pixel in the graphic of the exact same color with a single click?

yes, that was exactly it. Thank you for the pro-tip, and i am sorry if my explanation seemed confusing but i tend to complicate this kind of stuff, and english is not my native language.

Anyway, you seemed to fully understand what i wanted.

Thank you once more. I believe that now i will be able to use Gimp for pixel art as good as photoshop.
